Initial Ideas

In our group we have come up with some initial ideas for the music video we are going to make. The main theme we have come up with for the video is to make it in the style of an old horror film, for example Nosferatu. We have discussed having villains or monsters in the video, but have not yet concluded whether to have just one or a few different ones. The reason that we have come up with the idea of using monsters is because of the lyrics of the song.

These are some of the lyrics taken from the chorus. We wanted the video to be in keeping with the song, so we have initially come up with this idea of an old fashioned horror film. We have also discussed costumes and effects that we think might help to enhance our video. We have discussed having Lady Gaga in a different costume to be the damsel for the villain or monster from each horror film. For example Fankenstein's bride. We feel that this will give a sense her being stuck in a love story with a monster. We have also discussed using the effect of starting the video with a video reel countdown like they did in old films and then ending it with the video reel burning.
