Rejected Footage

These are some print screens of the rejected footage that we had from making our video.

There are several shots here of Lady Gaga and the wolf that we decided not to use. The reason for this is that they were filmed at night. Though it came out okay on the camera, when we uploaded the footage it was almost entirely black. We tried to brighten some of the footage but it didn't work and so we were unable to use it.

There are a few shots of the wolf in this that we have decided not to use aswell. We decided not to use them because they are out of focus. Also they are at bad angles as they are not as high up as we would have liked them to be. we wanted some of the wolf footage to be filmed at eye level so that the wolf would appear to be looking straight out through the camera. Unfortunatley some of the footage was slightly too low and so we decided to use other footage that we had captured that was better.

Quite a few of the rejected shot in the print screen on the right were rejected because they were too dark. They are shots of lady Gaga dancing and Lady gaga and the wolf together. They were also filmed at night and we had the same problem as previously mentioned, in that it came out on the camera but not on the computer.

There are two location establishing shots in the rejected footage. The reason that they have been put in rejected footage is because the first one was much to fast and didn't give you a chance to properly see the location, so we decided not to use it. The second was very jerky and it was at a slight angle which was off putting when trying to watch the footage back. We decided that it would be best not to use eitehr of these shots as establishing shots for the video and chose to use a different one that was much better.

There are a few shots of the wolf that we have rejected aswell as a few shots of dracula. The reason for this is that they were exteme close ups of his mouth and it was important to have the lips syncing in time with the music. The shots that we discarded were shot not in time and so we re-shot them until we got them perfect and used those ones instead.

There are a few shots from the train station. This was a location that we had initially planned to use for part of our music video. However we ended up not using the majority of the footage that we shot there because our idea changed and it no longer fitted in with the rest of our video.
